 Especialista em helicópteros, a brasileira Helibras operadora local da Airbus Helicopters , concluiu uma fase de teste de três semanas para a integração da MBDA Exocet AM s 39 Block 2 Mod míssil anti- navio 2 e sistema de gerenciamento de dados tático para equipar o reconhecimento e anti- variante de guerra de superfície da Airbus Helicópteros H225Ms ( designados localmente AH- 15B ) para a Marinha do Brasil.

A atividade incluiu os lançamentos de mísseis simulados feitos para validar a conexão entre lançador e sistema de missão. Este primeiro passo será seguido por testes adicionais, programados para começar no início de 2016, antes que o míssil seja testado em vôo no helicóptero AH- 15B no Brasil.

Helibras concludes first Exocet missile integration tests for Brazilian AH-15B

Brazilian helicopter specialist Helibras, a local operation of Airbus Helicopters, has concluded a three-week testing phase for integration of MBDA s Exocet AM 39 Block 2 Mod 2 anti-ship missile and tactical data management system that is to equip the reconnaissance and anti-surface warfare variant of Airbus Helicopters H225Ms (locally designated AH-15B) for the Brazilian Navy.

The activity included simulated missile launches meant to validate the connection between launcher and mission system. This first step will be followed by additional testing work that is scheduled to start in early 2016, before the missile is tested in flight on the AH-15B helicopter in Brazil.
